Vintage Vogue Topnote cards

Last night I stayed up 'till 2am making these (6 in all 3 designs) it's the designing I find that takes a long time but once I'm happy with that I find I can whip them up in no time. I've already posted 2 this am & didn't photograph them, they are similar but with less layering -lots happening next month, both happy & sad, so sending well & best wishes to all the recipients.
Ingredients;
"Vintage Vogue" stamp set, Top Note die, Filigree, Rhinestone & Silver Brads. Colour combo's are Melon Mambo & Pretty in Pink then not Quite Navy & Rich Razzleberry both with Whisper White.

I just love these IRL.
I used the gorgeous "Very Vintage" wheel  inked in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla CS that mounts onto Soft Suede, the Topnote is Kraft & also inked with Soft Suede. Colour variations are Not Quite Navy & Rich Razzleberry, I used the fabulous distressing tool on my Cutter Kit to distress the edges, lots of Sponging, Rich Regal Brads & Soft Suede 1/2" Polka Dot Ribbon.

Cottage Wall Top Note box & Blog Candy winner

I was very excited to see the Top Note die in the new mini catalogue as I have been wanting to make a box since it's release in the US, I just googled Top Note Box tutorial & this fabulous blog was the first one to pop up. I used Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry & Orchard Opulance CS & some gorgeous Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, I tried adding some embellishments but the Ribbon was all it needed. To make the box top & bottom sturdy I layered them both with the cardboard that comes in DSP packaging.
I was excited to see so many comments on my previous post, so thankyou to everyone who participated in my blog giveaway & left me a comment. My number was 11, so that makes Alley the winner, make sure you pop on over to her blog & see her beautiful creations, congratulations Alley, just email me your address & I'll pop that parcel in the post to you.

SAS Cards cont... & Blog giveaway.

"Thoughts & Prayers" stamp set is my favourite set, at the moment anyway, lol. Proving to be so so versatile. The branch is "Old Olive" & the Trio Flowers are More Mustard & Ruby red along with the mount piece that has the flowered branch stamped (tone on tone) just on the top left & bottom right corners then layered on the Whisper White card, happy mothers day is from "Occasional Greetings" inked with More Mustard.

Oh I just love this colour combo; Kraft, Baja Breeze & Bravo Burgundy. The sentiment & tree are inked with Chocolate Chip & the Kraft card front has been spritzed with a Bravo Burgandy Marker. Once the image is stamped & the Trio Flowers are added (popped up with Dimensionals), mount it onto the Baja Breeze piece & then adhere the Bravo Burgandy piece behind that. Now you can punch a hole through all 3 layers (where you can see in this pic the knot of the ribbon) this is so you can thread the Baja Breeze striped ribbon, tie it around the layers & into a knot, now that can be added onto the card front with Dimensional.

Hmmm Cameo Coral anyone! Well I think so, it co-ordinates with Raspberry Tart DSP (the flower) just 5 scallop circles with a brad inserted to keep it together then scrunched up. The branch is stamped (tone on tone) in the top left & bottom right corners of the card front. The flower Branch image is inked & then mounted in/onto Kiwi Kiss with a little Rose Red Scalloped piece behind that as well, to tie in the Raspberry Tart DSP used for the Flower. The Sentiment is from "Whimsical Words" SAB.
Blog Giveaway!
I guess it's called "Blog Candy"? I've always wanted to have one of those, lol.
All of the 9 SAS cards are great make-n-takes, the layouts were considered & measurements made to have very little if any off cuts, so great for mass production. I have this very SAS class on again tomorrow & was expecting 6 attendees, 1 has just cancelled leaving me with an extra class kit (CS cut & scored & ingredients list with all measurements), so I just thought why not have it up for grabs until the 28th March, I've already the winning number written down for the person who leaves me a comment in sequence to that number. Make sense? To explain a bit better:  Just say that my number is 7, then the 7th person to leave me a comment on this post will win.

SAS cards

These are the 9 SAS cards made in 2.5hrs!
10 lovely ladies attended my Sydney SAS class & over 200 cards were made while I was in Sydney last weekend. A huge effort getting organised & prepped I must admitt but well worth the joy & appreciation expressed by everyone who got to stamp with me,
So a BIG THANKYOU from me to everyone who joined me.

I had a wonderful time catching up with you all & hope you are all inspired & keepstamping!

I thought I would post individual pics for those that have purchased the SAS kits as they only included the supply list & measurements.

This 4x4 card is paper pieced with Kaleidoscope DSP & mounted on Tempting Turquoise, the top & bottom present is coloured in with Pink Passion & Tempting Turquoise markers, the 3 stripes have been dazzled with Diamonds (2way Glue pen & a sprinkling of Dazzling Diamonds). The 2 other "Happy Moments" birthday cards are coloured in with Regal Rose & Taken with Teal & the middle present as well as the stripes are Dazzled with Diamonds.

Urban Garden DSP is adhered to the whisper white CS after the silhouettes have been stamped, use the card front as a guide so you have a border showing, then you adhere the Tafetta ribbon (tucked behind) that has Sticky Strip applied all along it, gathering as you go, leave enough to tuck behind at the end. Stamp the antenna's before you apply the ribbon if this is where you want the butterfly, now you can adhere this to the card front.

Simple & great for male cards. The Kiwi Kiss card front has been stamped with "Weathered". The squares are 1 1/4", all you do is punch 3 Whisper White squares & stamp pocket Silhouettes, mount these along with 3 Urban Garden squares onto the Not Quite Navy piece that measures 10.5cm x 7cm, stamp your greeting & punch out with the Word Window punch & wrap it around the NQN mount. Told you it was simple & a it's a great layout for SAS cards, a must try for other DSP & Stamp sets.

The Easel card is posted here
I will be back to post the 3 "Thoughts & Prayers" cards individually so this post isn't to long!

High Tea Birthday Invites

My beautiful niece Marina is turning 30 next month & is having High Tea & a Lolly Buffet. She came up for Teya's Birthday so we made the time to design her invites & made matching lolly labels, cake toppers etc, It will look amazing & I will be sure to take a pic so you can see.
We got the idea for the invite layout from a lovely card Teya recieved for her Birthday made by my wonderful & very creative friend Louise. The sweet shop awning idea we saw on Splitcoast, a gorgeous card I emailed to Marina but it has no watermark, the stamp set used on that one was "Crazy for Cupcakes".
We used an image from "Fun & Fast notes", Your Invited is from "Cheer & Wishes". Candy Lane DSP, with Riding Hood Red, Pirouette Pink, Close to Cocoa & Very Vanilla CS.

Teya's 8th Birthday

Teya was delighted with her Birthday card, cupcake cake & party favours I made.

4 hours of fun for Teya & her 11 friends yesterday, they played lots of games, swam of course (Pool Party) despite some rain, ate yummy party food & even got to make a 6x6 scrapbook page, which the kids loved, I made sure I took the pic of them all before they went for a swim, then my wonderful DH popped out to get 14 copys printed. A lovely memory for them all to keep.
