I finally covered this wooden word dream for Teya that I purchased some time ago with the oh so pretty "Tea For Two Designer Series Paper" (129311).
I painted the wood except the front with an acrylic paint I have in my paint stash called Pink Petal.
I also used to embellish the Ribbon & Buttons from SAB, a Tea Time Trinket (129326), Bitty Butterfly (129406) & Elegant Butterfly (127526) punches, a little thread of Calypso Coral Bakers Twine (125573) & some Basic Rhinestone & Pearl Jewels. It measures over 12" long which is why the m has the polka dot paper on it & the pearls hide the join, same with the d, the join is covered with the ribbon. It needed little added as the paper I chose had lots of interest & colour.

Everyday Enchantment Inspirations
It's taken me sometime to finally case this idea -strips of DSP as a background & because I only pre-ordered Everyday Enchantment DSP & the Ribbons & Brads it gave me the perfect opportunity at my recent team meeting to try it -we made the love card. This background showcases DSP beautifully. I bought the simple letters Alphabet Dies for 1/2 price (workshop reached $600) some months ago so out they came along with the Glitter paper -love it! The possibilities are big, the frame makes a gorgeous gift for many occasions (I'll be making one for Teya's Birthday thats says "Dance") & the card will surely be on display & maybe even framed. Try it with DSP you already have or get some of the gorgeous Everyday Enchantment DSP for free during SAB (spend $100). View all the free SAB items by clicking on it over on the right & if you would like a copy posted to you email me your details.

Simply Adorned
Sandy received her gift for winning the Christmas swap votes. The complete Simply Adorned range comes in brown box's so I just tied a ribbon around the box with Seam Binding & added a clay disc that I stamped on & some twine.
I have ordered myself a necklace as I love making the inserts for the simply adorned 2.5 x 3.2 cm charm, this is the largest we have -so many more options.

SU! Fabric Pin Cushions
With Christmas just around the corner, we need to start on those handmade gifts & these are perfect for that. Timeless Portrait & Beau Chateau fabric with the Scallop Square Bigz Die & in between the 2 pieces of fabric I have added some felt & matching buttons, real easy sewing here! The triangular one was a bit more tricky & uses 4 pieces of fabric, I have a few more versions to try. Also in this pic is a Timeless Portrait fabric Fun Flower bookmark, these are also easy & a great gift to give with a book. I'll be making some more so I will show more detail on how to make those when I do.

pocket full of kusudama flowers & bookmark
My favourite DSP would have to be Pocket Full of Posies & I just had to see what every sheet looked like folded into a kusudama flower. These flowers are pretty easy to make, a little time consuming making 1/2 a dozen, LOL. A wonderful step by step tutorial to follow here. My only tip is to use sticky strip with DSP, this is the strongest adhesive I believe.
A simple corner book mark with a Kusudama flower attached. Each petal is 2" squares of First Edition Specialty paper, this DSP is thinner than the basic DSP we have so it's perfect for folding the flowers & snail adhesive has kept it together but be sure to burnish together well.

Stampin up Button Bracelet
The top one I used Soft Subtle Buttons & a Trinket Key. The second one has retired buttons mixed with current grey from the neutrals pack.
I added a shrinky dink charm (lots of fun making those)
punched out & stamped with pennant parade & punch.

Stamping on Canvas

An attempt to be arty! This is for a swap with the talented & very Arty Stamping INK stinct stamping group, I think I'm getting better! wish I had the new Kiwi Kiss Ribbon though.
Ingredients;
Tres Chic, Natural Beauty & Always stamp sets.
Kiwi Kiss (cs), Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango (cs -the centre of the heart) & Not Quite Navy (cs) inks. Sponge daubers (lots of sponging), Aquapainter, Hodgepodge & Chocolate Tafetta Ribbon.
I attached some accetate (outline image stamped in brown) to the watercoloured image with the teeniest eyelets (thanks Louise). I do hope the person that gets it likes it.
