Strawberry Baskets filled with strawberries

For one of our two Two nieces having a birthday this month I made the perfect packaging for the Strawberry Pandora charm, (fits in the smallest strawberry template).
The baskets are the Scallop Circle Die, (scored an uneven tick tack toe,  4 scallops on opposite ends & 3 scallops on other opposite ends, cut both 3 scallop ends up to the first score line). I downloaded this free strawberry template from PaperScrapz, Email me if you would like the larger sized templates.

early morning easter hunt & another scallop envelope basket

Up early this am to watch Teya collect her eggs -so much chocolate!!! I made her this cute basket & found her favourite boxed chocolates Guylian, packaged especially for Easter, I like Guylian as well & can't wait for to open & share & to see the chick & egg shaped chocolates, how cute!
Hope you are all having a lovely Easter Sunday, xx

Scallop Envelope die gift basket

I followed this tutorial, I liked the no cutting & not having to adhere the bottom of the box. The handle has a ribbon rose on it but the angle of the photo doesn't do it justice, it looks so cute IRL. I'm trying to put up a little video tutorial on these, just need to find a little time to work out how, LOL.

Sweet Basket

I just love these super quick & cute little baskets.
I first made one a little more involved here a few years ago! They have been around for a long time but I couldn't resist it for the little easter eggs, I was happy it was loved & not seen before as package 3 of 4 in my classes. This one is only 6" x 6" to start, scored at 2" on all 4 sides, then scored again in each 2" square diagonally to form triangles in the 2" squares, it's simply folded then on all score marks, hole punched close to each triangle tip to insert the Ribbon that holds it together -no adhering! I used Sweet Slumber Specialty DSP so it's real sturdy & really needed no decorating, I think the So Saffron striped Ribbon finishes it off just enough. For a bigger basket start with 9" x 9" scored at 3" or even 12" x 12" scored at 4". The 6" x 6" is my favourite & makes a gorgeous gift to give this easter, I'll definately be making a few more.

I saw these candy canes on Marelles blog (she has a tutorial) & I thought "what a great idea" for Teya's kindy class instead of cards! once we finished them, I put together a 12x12 treat box & matched the colours of the candy canes, which are; Cranberry Crisp, Marigold Morning & Old Olive, the Holiday Thyme papers also co-ordinate with these colours. Teya can't wait to give them to all her little friends tomorrow.

Treat Box

I couldn't resist adding these to my two pocket tote class held on Saturday.
Holiday Thyme designer series papers (only available'till the 15th December) were used to decorate these very cute & useful little(8x8 inch) box's, perfect for little gifts to take to family & friends when visiting at this time of the year! We also stamped True Thyme, Cranberry Crisp, Bashful Blue & Old Olive Cardstock with the same inks, some with "Sleigh full of Toys" & some with "The Snow Flake Spot" Stamp Sets. The ribbon is from the Spring mini Catalogue- sadly now retired, but I stocked up on a few rolls as these beautifully co-ordinate with the Holiday Thyme Paper.
