Christmas cards

I just wanted to share a few of the Christmas cards I made, The first one I think is my favourite, double embossed Cherry Cobbler water coloured image from "Greeting Card Kids", such a cute set. The next couple are a case of Stampin pretty, I just changed to a butterfly on one & emboss stamped in Pewter -just gorgeous IRL.

I saw this card on a display board at the Penrith show in November & loved it so much I had to CASE.

this one came together very quickly with all layers & embellishments left over that I wanted to use.

Our Christmas tree.Have a wonderful Christmas & a blessed 2013

Lip gloss teachers/ friends gifts

I found in Myer Benefit 6 pack of mini lip gloss's for $49 & thought I would come up with individual packaged gifts. These were the first pack of 6 I bought & made for Teya's dance teachers but Matt spotted them & thought he would like them for his managers wives so they were gifted to them at a work dinner we had. I went & bought another pack & had less time so came up with the "Scentsational Season" decorated ones below which did go to Teya's dance teachers, I liked how quick & cute these ones turned out so that led to the Lindt Chocolate gift cards in the previous post where you can follow the tutorial. The insert for the lip gloss is actually from the pack that I cut down to fit & I punched a 3/4" hole which fitted the lid of the lip gloss nicely. The bottom ones are sunblock Ella Bache bought from DJ's in a 3 pack for $29 & those being a little taller I packaged using the Petal Card Double Punch & the window sheet tube that measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/2" scored at 1", 2", 3" & 4", sticky strip to assemble & only on the bottom petal card punch. The top holds in place by wrapping a strip of dsp or CS & the ribbon runs through the inside, looped to create a hanger & knotted at the top & bottom so you can open & close the lid without tearing the box. I hope this helps if you like this idea & want to make some yourself.

Scentsational Season Lindt Teddy card Tutorial

Score a 3" x 9 3/4" strip at 3/4", 1 1/2", 2 1/4", 3", 6" & 6 3/4".

1 1/4" circle punch on the 1 1/2" score line.
Apply Sticky Strip as shown

Fold in all score marks & adhere to the back portion.

Stamp greeting from "More Merry Messages" to top inside 3" panel. Run a piece of Gumball Green CS that measures 2 3/4" x 2" through the Bigshot in Petals-a-Plenty Folder & adhere to the inside for added interest (optional)

Adhere the large Scallop from the Scallop Square Due in real Red to the front.

Layer a piece on top that measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" of Whisper White that has also been embossed.

Stamp & Die cut the tree & star from "Scentsational Season" Bundle & dimensional those. Add your teddy choc & done!

1D Birthday card

A friend asked me to make a card for her daughters 14th birthday that was telling her she had a ticket to see 1D (still waiting on actual ticket) & this is what I came up with. I printed some ID pics & used a couple. Colour was chosen to suit the pics & is Poppy Parade, I made an extra insert for a Birthday message in case she wanted to to use it as an actual card as well. All happy with how it turned out.

Christmas Ornament pop out

A cute little gift to give this Christmas, perfectly packaged in the Petite Purse. I did them in 3 different stamp sets but all equally as beautiful. "Lacy & Lovely", "Delicate Doilies" & "Snowflake Soiree" (Holiday catalogue). The pic below shows what they look like open, the "Delicate Doilies" one I made last year & it just has a wooden bead but the other 2 have Vintage Faceted Buttons & the "Lacy & Lovely" one has an addition of a Designer Ribbon slide, this looks really nice IRL. They look difficult to create but are really easy & "super stinkin cute"! love this saying the US demo's use, LOL.
Here is the video tutorial that I originally followed last year, Enjoy!

Betsy's Blossoms

Floral District DSP is so cheerful & a little retro which I really like, the colour combo's of the cards below are inspired by those in the DSP. They are quick & easy cards to make with a few different techniques. The White KIS no layer card has been wheeled with "Betsy's Blooms" wheel & the greeting is from "Curly Cute" stamp set embellished with the largest Bloom stamp that has been punched with the 2 3/8" scallop Circle punch & punched again by inserting it back into the punch (attach a strip to the back to use as a handle) to create a sunflower. I inked up the bird in baja Breeze & used a sponge Dauber with Midnight muse on the wings to make these pop. "Itty Bitty Banners" stamp set & Framelits were used on the other 2 cards, the Rich Razzleberry one also has the hearts Adorning Accents Folder embossed along the bottom & paper pierced around the top of the 2 1/2" circle & I used the Little leaves Sizzlets for the branches & Itty Bitty punch pack for the flowers with pearls in the centres. The pouch is a piece of 8" squared DSP  scored on the Diagonal plate, there are a few tutorials on you tube & in different sizes if you want to make one of these, they are super easy & no adhesive.
