Tea Shoppe gift cards

 3 x 3 card gift set for a dear friend who loves tea -perfect! The pocket pouch is a sheet of 12 x 12 Twitterpated DSP origami folded to house 3 items & there a few variations of this pouch. Originally I made this one & it held a couple of tea bags, gift card & biscuit in the middle. Now it serves 6 gorgeous gift cards & matching envelopes.

Faux metal embossed

A lot of things about this card I love, the layout is one I've used again & again & the flower punched simply from the Blossom Punch & the faux metal background. Firstly I started with a whisper White piece of CS that I ran through the bigshot in the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. I sponged randomly in 3 colours (blue, green, brown) then I sponged randomly all over in patches with versa mark & embossed with gold powder. The end colour result made me go with Poppy Parade, Pool Party & Soft Suede & the prettiest DSP Attic Boutique. I extended the jewellery tag punch out to fit fabulous on (cut a strip that is the teeniest bit smaller than the width of the punch so you can thread the piece to be punched in & up out through the actual punch area), see pic below.
The dress I had sitting made up from when I did the video on it here & the left over strip of Faux metal I thought worked nicely.

Convention 2012

 I had a ball in Canberra & enjoyed catching up with fellow demonstrators, SU! staff & all the fun involved with Convetion.
I have chosen a few pics to highlight. The first one is of me, Vivienne & Clare. Momento Mall. Swap boards -there were so many... A workshop presentation -love the candy & can't wait to try it out. Me at the Bigshot table during make-n-takes. At awards night dinner with Jane & Vivienne & finally all the staff up on stage to end the weekend. I arrived home very tired but so inspired & itching to try out all my new stamps & accessories. Next year is in Brisbane so I'm super happy about that. Lots of exciting changes were announced like the catalogue release date next year that will bring us in line with the US, so next years convention will be one you won't want to miss!
