Mini Muslin bags

Stampin' Up! have released beautiful mini muslin bags, 8 for $16.95, gorgeous favors can be made using these with a little stamping alone or adding ribbon & embellishments like I did here. The top one is a sample for an upcoming wedding, stamp set is "One in a million". Wheeled in crumb cake ink is "Viola's Lace" with a strip of 1/8" Taffeta Bermuda Bay ribbon & a dyed Flower trim (retired) but I have a couple of packs. The bottom one I made a boo boo stamping but was excited that I did because I will use lighter ink pads as well now, here's why, I washed off the ink & being inpatient couldn't wait for it to dry completely so I stamped on it while it was still damp & the ink looks much darker & will dry that way, more true to colour (you can see the image is darker towards the bottom which was the area was still damp). I used "Chalk Talk" stamp set in Soft Suede & Crisp Cantaloupe & adhered the Ruffled Ribbon along the top stitching this time & added the heart to finish.

 How adorable & super quick & easy. Making these for a Birthday party adds a cute but wow factor to those milkshakes & juices served. Straws & bottles are readily available at most party shops & online.

Teya's Party Favours

 I was so sad to see the Fancy Favor die retire but will still be using for party favors. These I made for Teya's birthday, they turned out super cute & I even made cupcake pop tops & they turned out delightful & were so yummy, I baked a basic chocolate cake & added enough Nutella to get the right consistency to put in the mold, I'm not keen on the non baked variety & nutella being a staple item in our pantry as Teya loves it we thought it would work nicely & it did. I attempted to make leopard print cupcakes & hand painted the hearts but they did not turn out as expected, the icing did not set hard enough & the hearts started to melt when I placed them on the cupcakes, they were yummy & the girls thought they were amazing so the time spent creating them was worth it in the end.

Harry & Jasper update

Our kittens are nearly 6 months old! They are growing up very handsomely don't you think? Beautiful personality's, Harry is patient & listens & he is looking more like his mum. Jasper is persistent & talks a lot, his coat & colouring are gorgeous. We still miss our old boy Louis, it is also coming up to 6 months since his passing.

Harry & Jasper have to be a part of everything! - as I manage to get some shots to post of the cards I made using the Birthday Candles Wheel. I used the new In colour Markers, direct to rubber, to ink up part of the wheel. Label Love stamp set has an Artisan punch to bundle & save 15%, see pg 32, love it 'cause it covers all occasions. Wow! to the Gingham Wheel inked up here in Strawberry Slush, love it! & the clay button looks cute stitched in Coastal Cabana Marker. Some Dazzling Diamonds added on the flames.
