SAB finishes today :-( & blog awards ;

Before SAB ends I wanted to show a couple of more cards, I can't remember where I got the inspiration for the first card (stamping the owls & then popping one up) but I loved it & had to case. The gorgeous "Bliss" card was made by Tracey my downline,  an inspiration to me for scrapbooking.

My apologies for being a slack blogger since my pc crashed & I lost everything! it's been a long and slow process getting 4 yrs of work back up to date. Anyway I still have been creating madly, running classes/workshops regularly but haven't been posting all projects on my blog or even visiting all the blogs that inspire me, so lots of catching up to do!

I have received 2 blog awards this month & am very thankful for those, it's nice to know my blog is inspiring even though it's very basic, LOL. On my very long to do list I have written monetize blog! which I hope to do soon so it's much more user friendly & you can look at projects categorized.
This first award was given to me by Suzie, thank you so much Suzie for this award & your kind words, I am now a follower of your beautiful blog.
The Liebster Blog, which translate from German, into 'Dearest Blog' is designed to bring attention to new blogs, or blogs with fewer than 300 followers & I must pass this on to 3 talented Stamper blogs that I admire.
I was beaten to the post! I had all intention passing this award onto Renee for JDV House
hmm wonder if it's ok to get an award twice in this situation?
A couple of other I'd like to pass onto are Angie & Wendy

This next award was given to me by Fiona, such a beautiful person & blog, thanks Fi, xx
And very quickly 8 things about myself are;
I create best under pressure
I eat way to much
I love wine & dislike beer
I spend to much money on beautiful things including stamps! I still haven't mounted some!
I prefer giving rather than receiving
I'm a tad fussy
I stamp 'till 3am alot! therefore not a morning person, when I wake up I so look like a frog, LOL, I often wish I could trade places with my cat so I can laze around & cat nap without feeling guilty.
I need coffee to wake up! "no coffee no workie"

I pass this one to Claire, Teneale & Chiaki
gorgeous creations & inspirations.

Autumn mini sneak peak

New punch, embossing folder & stamp set!
The incolour ribbons ruffle up beautifully.
To scrunch the ribbon like this you pull the end of the ribbon to loosen the fibers that run the width way, then you grab one of the fibers from the middle that run lengthways and pull, the ribbon will scrunch up as you gently push/move the ribbon along giving you this beautiful ruffle effect.
 Specialty DSP & stamp set. I couldn't find a punch to fit the quote nicely so I created this one from the Curly Label punch by inserting it back into the punch a couple of times. I had to sew on the lace but I pierced along the edge first so I had holes to follow for perfect sewing!
 My first Zindorf case, love this motorcycle stamp & Michelle's brayering tips, videos & tutorials are fantastic.

Teya's clever idea to add the chocolate & it made these into the cutest little fridge magnets, I forgot to  photograph them all together (made a dozen in different colours) before I posted the Autumn mini's out.

Easter Cardmaking Class projects

What cute little bunnies & chickies! The bunny on the basket is a case of Renee's, very clever way of using the Heart to Heart punch. The basket is Box die #2 without the lid & a scallop edge & handle added, the DSP is Marina Mist from the Soft Subtles stack.
The super cute little bunny & chick on the Petal Card Punch box that contain a strawberry or caramel choc egg -yum, my favourite at easter, are a case from Stampin' Pretty. Both these projects involved no stamping so the next 2 projects had to for the class, I used the Bunny from 'fOREST fRIENDS" stamp set & "Sweet Summer" (SAB) tone on tone or Versa mark for background stamping on the treat card. I made it to fit & hold a little pack of easter gummy lollies that I found in Coles. The card colour combo, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink & Certainly Celery are in the Colour Coach & so very suit easter.

Calendar Easel Card

I thought I'd share this project while we are still in March! Are the months are getting shorter?....
Here is a card & gift in 1, inspired by Andrea Walfords Desktop calendar easel box.
I used Sweet & Sour specialty DSP, its special because its embossed, I love the weight & texture of specialty DSP. This was a project made at Stamp-A-Day as well as a trial for time at my class last month, I re-sized it a little so I had no offcuts as I had to prep about 30 of these.

SAB Samples

 Less than 2 weeks left for Sale-A-Bration & the Summer Mini catalogue, so if you don't want to miss out on free SAB stamp sets or products in the Summer Mini you should place an order with me before the 31st March & I'll cover the postage as well. Click here for SAB details.
In the first pic was my first play & my favourite card is a case from the SAB brochure using the gorgeous "Bliss" stamp set. The second pic is using "Sweet Summer" a very versatile set, great for backgrounds & watercolouring. The 3rd pic uses the poppy image from "Punch Bunch" (poppy inked up in Melon Mambo marker & stamped off a few times to get monochromatic stamping). These were made as thank you cards for all who attended Stamp-A-Day fundraiser. The 4th pic is a project made at Stamp-A-day using every stamp from "Punch Bunch" & the last was my SSC members make-n-take for this month.
