Punch Art Bee BE MINE, VALENTINE

I like to keep up to date with Stampin' Up! -obviously here in Oz but also in other countries & this punch art bee I stumbled upon while checking out USA's recent leadership conference, unfortunately creator unknown as pic was taken from a display board. I tweeked a couple of bits, the face, which looked to be hand cut out of the ornament punch, I used the Full Heart punch & fed it back into the wide Oval to oval off the chin. I also added a heart for the nose from the Heart to Heart Punch instead of a round one, (apologies for using a chipped heart & since the pic was taken I have replaced it) i used Vellum CS for the wings, I didn't add pink circles for cheeks & my eyes slightly differ. It's hard to see the red shimmer in the pic but the Glimmer paper really makes this super cute. For the background I inked up block E with Crumb Cake & stamped it on the Whisper White.
Ingredients:
Candy Conversations stamp, Ornament, Full Heart, Heart to Heart, Butterfly, Itty Bitty Punch's, Red Glimmer, Basic Black, Whisper White & Vellum CS, Crumb Cake ink, Black & Red markers.

Everyday Enchantment Inspirations

It's taken me sometime to finally case this idea -strips of DSP as a background & because I only pre-ordered Everyday Enchantment DSP & the Ribbons & Brads it gave me the perfect opportunity at my recent team meeting to try it -we made the love card. This background showcases DSP beautifully. I bought the simple letters Alphabet Dies for 1/2 price (workshop reached $600) some months ago so out they came along with the Glitter paper -love it! The possibilities are big, the frame makes a gorgeous gift for many occasions (I'll be making one for Teya's Birthday thats says "Dance") & the card will surely be on display & maybe even framed. Try it with DSP you already have or get some of the gorgeous Everyday Enchantment DSP for free during SAB (spend $100). View all the free SAB items by clicking on it over on the right & if you would like a copy posted to you email me your details.

sale-a-bration

Up in the Air

"Up in the Air" hostess set was another stamp set that was waiting to be inked up in my cupboard over the festive season. I wanted to use more of the Everyday Enchantment DSP & just used co-ordinating markers to colour in the stamped images, I think the images are perfect once again for 3'x3" cards. The pretty Organdy Ribbon has a shimmer in it which dosn't show up in my pics but IRL adds a little dazzle. I'm yet to use the brads that also co-ordinate with the Sale-a-bration DSP & Ribbons, -it's wonderful to have more options this SAB which begins on the 24th Jan.

Everyday Enchantment

I have had a little time to stamp last night & today & use some new product that's on offer for free during SAB, gorgeous Everyday Enchantment DSP, Ribbons & Brads, so thought I'd share a cute little 3 x 3 card I made using some of those. The largest heart is a Movers & Shapers & even though I don't have the magnetic movers & Shapers I can still use my punched windows with my Scallop Square Die because it has a clear top, see pic below. The next heart is the Scalloped heart of Hearts Embosslits Die, then the Full heart punch, the 4th heart is a Heart to Hearts punch & the last & smallest 3 are the Small Hearts punch -the centre one I've stamped with the smallest heart from I Heart hearts stamp set.
