Fintastic Friends

I am so blessed with many "fantastic friends"!
I attended Cass's craft event on Thursday & stamped the fintastic image from "Whale Wishes" -all her sets are available to use on the day!
I rock-n-rolled the image in wild wasabi & blue bayou on whisper white, the river rock cs I embossed in white with the circles image from "Pick A Petal" I also embossed (dazzling diamonds) the flower, I mounted that on whisper white & then onto purely pomegranite -the card is not a standard size, it's slightly larger, so a custom envelope is needed! I ran some Purely pomegranite cs through the crimper (a great way to add some interest to your cards). I also tied some river rock stitched ribbon & a rhinestone brad to finish the card. I must say this card turned out fintastic! I love it!

Tomorrow is officially eScape the e day!

A Lovenote box & cards & envelopes to match, for my dear friend Nadine.
If you havn't already tried one of these box's, why not give one a go tomorrow, email me for the instructions. Here are some other samples.
Here's how I dry embossed the edge of the lid with the Crop-A-Dile using the A1 setting -make sure you get the A in the centre of the template before squeezing the handle, you will warp the plastic template if your not careful.

Garden Whimsy rock -n- roll

Ink the butterfly in Pale Plum & roll (the edges) in Elegant Eggplant, the front card is also Dazzling Diamond embossed & I used Party Punch level 1 hostess set (the Hb is inked with Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White) & the Designer label punch. The beetle is also rock -n- rolled & punched out with the 1" punch, I used the double rectangle punch for the ribbon slots. Here Bodaciuos Bouquet is given the rock-n-roll technique. Always ink up with the lighter colour first.

Dare to be Fabulous bleached & cropadiled

Bleaching Taken with Teal reveals Certainly Celery, so once again it's easy to get the perfect colour combo, the rest I relied on the crop-a-dile & the cnr rounder punch (guard removed) I love the way punches can be used more than 1 way!

Escape case

Patterned paper or So Swirly Wheel??? I like them both. These cards look famililiar? they are cased from the eScape promotion flyer, a few different colours, ribbons, but the layout is great & so easy. Once again the combinations are almost endless.

Dare to Be Fabulous emerging colour

Inspired by Beate on SCS, Emerging colour technique tutorial here.

I used my Crop-A-Dile to set the jumbo eyelet & inserted a Rhinestone brad.

Authentic & Wanted

This is the card I made for my dear BIL's birthday last month, it turned out so good that I decided it was perfect for production & a SU Demonstrators swap card so I made 12 in total & enjoyed the time I spent on them.

Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou & Sahara Sand.

I sponged almost every layer, punched (photo cnr, word window, 1/4") & a little paperpiercing.

Pick A Petal Versa resist

One of a few ways of resisting the ink is to use versa mark (called that 'cause it's versatile), the outline image from "Pick-A-Petal" is stamped on Gloss cardstock, I've used sponge daubers to rub in the petals (circular motion) with Certainly Celery, Taken with Teal & So Saffron inks, once you"ve finished colouring wipe over the gloss CS with a tissue to reveal the versa marked images. This card & technique was inspired by Cass . The reasoning behind all those brads in the centre??? it's different!

eScaping the e!

I eScaped to my studio for a couple of hours today to have a play with the "eScape" bundle.
Along with the bundle I used "Boho Backgrounds" the Scallop, 1 3/8" & 1" punches & Berry Bliss papers, the combinations are endless & I could of kept going!

Cropadile Happy!

I am boasting about the Cropadile I know, with 2 posts in a day! (I have lots of cards to show you) Once again I have a simple but striking effect with background stamping & I just love the added touch of the crop-o dile with the jumbo eyelet set & dry embossing.
The colours are "IN" -Purely Pomegranite, Groovy Guava & River Rock with Naturals ivory.
The eyelet set flower is dazzled with diamonds! (inked in versa mark then heat & stick powder & dazzled with diamonds! embossed).

Dare to be Fabulous bleached

When I bleached Purely Pomegranite it revealed Groovy Guava, this made my colour choice easy! I'm having fun with the Crop-A-Dile & have dry embossed on the River Rock & Groovy Guava. To get the dots even use the matt pack template to align the crop-o-dile. I used the new cnr punch for the scalloped edge & added some crystal effects to the punched circles on the bleached flowers, a little tip when you need lots of little punched out dots is to add the snail to the paper before punching out it makes it so much easier than trying to add adhesive to tiny bits.
