Two Tags Stitched Stocking Tag

I love this idea of adding one of the Two Tags to the front of a card, (my Vanilla piece measures 7.3cm & 19.2cm, scored at 9.6cm) I tucked the top in under the slit & corner rounded the edges. The Designer Frame embossing folder fits perfectly on the front & nicely layering in that is the large oval punch that has been wheeled with music notes, I couldn't resist adding Swirls & Scribbles sizzlits die cut. The stocking has been embossed with Cherry Cobbler Powder -a mini library clip stops it floating & I wrapped some Cherry Cobbler Seam binding around the top to hide the slit & score. The cord/string I recycled from clothing labels/tags.

SU! Fabric Pin Cushions

With Christmas just around the corner, we need to start on those handmade gifts & these are perfect for that. Timeless Portrait & Beau Chateau fabric with the Scallop Square Bigz Die & in between the 2 pieces of fabric I have added some felt & matching buttons, real easy sewing here! The triangular one was a bit more tricky & uses 4 pieces of fabric, I have a few more versions to try. Also in this pic is a Timeless Portrait fabric Fun Flower bookmark, these are also easy & a great gift to give with a book. I'll be making some more so I will show more detail on how to make those when I do.

pocket full of kusudama flowers & bookmark

My favourite DSP would have to be Pocket Full of Posies & I just had to see what every sheet looked like folded into a kusudama flower. These flowers are pretty easy to make, a little time consuming making 1/2 a dozen, LOL. A wonderful step by step tutorial to follow here. My only tip is to use sticky strip with DSP, this is the strongest adhesive I believe.

A simple corner book mark with a Kusudama flower attached. Each petal is 2" squares of First Edition Specialty paper, this DSP is thinner than the basic DSP we have so it's perfect for folding the flowers & snail adhesive has kept it together but be sure to burnish together well.
