Happy Birthday Teya

Some of Teya's gorgeous B'day cards, I made the top one (cased from Teneale) her cards are so so elegant! I actually embossed the Floral background & used Heat & Stick powder & Dazzling Diamonds for the #7 -very pretty IRL.
The gorgeous "Pretty Princess" card is from Sue & the Elegant "Always" is from Marina, -both are very talented!!!

Botanical Blooms SSC make-n-takes

This is the card I designed for a Stamper Six Club make-n-take recently, I made the custom packaging for the 2 crayons that also held the Brads & Gingham Ribbon, colours used are Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke & Basic Black, Water colour paper was used for the crayon direct to rubber & water spritzing technique. This is an easy way to watercolour your images.

Life Definitions Brocade Background card

I wonder if this DS paper retire, well it has a 2008-2009 in-colour River Rock in it so my guess is yes, a colour I will dearly miss & know many others will too.
I mentioned in my last post that it is a breeze to create a card with DS papers & here is a great example, the sentiment from "Life Definitions" is the only stamping I did -a stamp set I pulled out not so long ago when I recieved a card from Angela my upline that inspired me (she used the inspire definition) & that it did!
I used some Ribbon Originals & some large 1/2 pearls. Colours used are Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip & Always Artichoke.

Bali Breeze GV wallet

Another GV wallet -I love making these, they make a special card & gift in one with either a SU Gift Ceftificate or money notes inside!
Many of the gorgeous DS papers will soon be retiring, so at the great price of $11.95 for 12 double sided sheets, I've decided to stock up on my favourites, they make card making a Breeze!

Mostly Flowers Cards & Money Wallet

As soon as I saw Teneale's beautiful card she created on tea bag folding I was inspired! she has a link to simple instructions on the fold & her elegant Black & White version on her blog.
I made these to give to family & friends this month, I just changed the colours to Chocolate Chip & Very Vanilla & adhered 2 instead of 4 tea bag folded squares to the diamond images on the Cherish card & the other 2 I have adhered 3 on either side & the points inside eachother. The bottom one is a money wallet -just perfect for our nephews wedding.

Ginger Blossom origami box with flip lid

I love making origami box's & in different sizes, & am thrilled with this simple idea for the lid! You can click HERE for instructions for both, my tip is to actually adhere your ribbon between the chipboard & CS (I used the chipboard from the DS paper packs).
Here's a pic to see how I adhered my 1" DS paper squares on my box lid. I used all I had left of my Vanilla 1/2 pearls -I'm almost due for another box anyway!

Polka Dot Punches cards

I had a play with this set on Australia day with Teya, I couldn't do green & yellow so we went with the flag colours, Real Red & Brilliant Blue, I guess they're not to bad, Teya liked them & had fun & I don't mind the layout on a couple!

Chunky Glitter

I made the live laugh & love card from last months demonstrator online extras -one of the benefits of being a SU Demonstrator is monthly project recipes & samples.

I used Sticky Strip to adhere the Chunky glitter,

I was then inspired to frame the fish from "Ocean Commotion" with chunky Glitter,
I used both square punches (for the Sage Shadow fish & Choc Chip mount) I stamped "Embrace Life" in Chocolate Chip ink on med Twill Tape & tied it through a Hodge Podge Buckle & frayed the edges, I also scored a border on the Choc Chip card that has "Linen" background.
