Berry Bliss Mothers Day card

Berry Bliss! I love the way these turned out, a little work in them but I'm sure my mums will love one.

Stamp sets are "Occasional Greetings", "Boho Background" (very versatile & great value), the swirl is from "Priceless" a favourite of mine, I also used "So Swirly" wheel. I paper pierced the scallop, I finally have my most wanted punch!
Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranite & Pretty in Pink, I've embossed in white, added a jumbo eyelet (loving the cropadile), the front card also has some dry embossing on the bottom also done with the cropadile, click on the picture to enlarge, as its hard to see here. Taffeta White & stitched Purley Pomegranite ribbons are attached, the little 1/2 pearl is from the Pretties Kit. I used my cutter kit blade to cut the Berry Bliss Patterned Paper a little swirly. The cards for me have me thinking a facinator, 1950's.

Priceless 3"x3" box

In the past few weeks I have seen many tutorials for the love note box's on various sites & in the process of looking was inspired by this set. So here is how I made the box;

Step 1.
Cut a piece of Card Stock 5 1/4" squared & score 1" on each side. You will do the same for the lid but cut this piece of Card Stock 2/16" bigger.

Step 2.
Once you have stamped (I wheeled), cut all 4 sides to the 1"as shown on pic.

Step 3.
Bone fold to get a crisp edge on all scored lines & apply snail or double sided tape (it is stronger) to each 1" corner as shown in pic.

Step 4. Turn box over & adhere together, Follow these steps for the lid, but remember to cut the lid that 2 16" bigger. If you would like a window in the lid, heres how;

Cut a circle out of the centre of the lid.
Cut a square 3"piece of contrasting Card Stock & cut a slightly smaller circle out of the centre if it.
I adhered a 3" square piece of Cello from the SU bags first & then the contrasting piece ontop of that, you will just need to finish the assembling as above.

Have fun making love notes to pop inside these -you should fit 4 in this size box, but this may vary depending on how you embelish the cards. If you need a deeper box just adjust the measurements accordingly, if you have any questions or need further instructions please email me.

Priceless lovenotes

Some of the cards I made to go into the 3x3" box's.
In colours with co-ordinating ribbons & inks & the paptterned paper is from the sampler pad available to purchase for $12.95 -more details on those on the 1st May.

Garden Whimsy

Ruby red, Old Olive & Creamy Caramel are the colours I used to quickly make these cards. I stamped the butterflies randomly on a A5 sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock & then it was easy to put a few cards together. I'm loving this set!

Boho Backgrounds & Wonderful Favourites

Happy Birthday to my wonderful niece!
Pretty in Pink & Creamy Caramel are the colours, the DS paper is "Outlaw" embelished with the Pretties kit. I'm loving the scallop punch!

Carte Postale sahara sand

Got this idea from the simply sent "simple delights" kit. I used Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue & Chocolate Chip -now that I have the new In Colours I'll have to try River Rock & sky Blue.
Apologies in the delay in posting the box tutorial, my internet connection will hopefully be up tonight, so in the meantime let me know if you can't wait & I can email it to you.

Bodacious 3x3 cards in a box

I finally located the tutorial for the box! these are easy to put together & can be made to suit any size cards that you may want to give as gift. The new "Love notes" available in vanilla/white assorted & "Fun & Fast Notes" stamp set would be perfect for this project.

stamping again!

Well I had to interupt the unpacking & get some stamping in (feeling withdrawals) I made these cello bags as displayed in the momento mall at convention for my downlines. I had to have a play with Fun & Fast Notes as well, whipped together several love notes (3"x3") in no time.

Stampin' Up! Convention 2008

Well I had a wonderful time at convention in Brisbane last weekend. These were the make-n-takes - I especially love the scrapbook page (just need to add a special photo) -maybe of us in our new home? I have ordered the Outline Alphabet after using it on this page. I can see Fun & Fast Notes being my most used set as it covers alot of occassions, & is, as it's named, "fun & fast" to create a card!
